[Human Interface Guidelines] App Architecture - Loading

컨텐츠를 불러올때, 빈칸 또는 정적인 화면은 너의 앱이 멈춘 것 처럼 보여줘 혼란과 좌절감을 불러오고 잠재적으로 사람들이 앱을 떠날 수 있다.

 

  1. Make it clear when loading is occurring
    • 최소한 무엇인가가 일어나고 있음을 나타내는 activity spinner를 보여줘야한다.
    • 더 나은 점은, 명확한 progress indicator를 보여줘 유저들이 얼마나 기다려야하는지를 측정할 수 있게한다.
  2. Show content as soon as possible
    • 사람들이 기대하는 화면을 보기전에 컨텐츠가 로드될 때 까지 기다리지 않게한다.
    • 화면을 즉시 표시하고 placeholder, 그래픽, 애니메이션을 사용해서 컨텐츠가 아직 사용이 불가능한 곳을 식별해야한다.
    • 컨텐츠가 로드되면 이러한 placeholder를 대체한다.
    • 가능하면 애니메이션이 재생되는 동안 또는 유저가 레벨이나 메뉴를 탐색하는 동안 백그라운드에서 컨텐츠를 사전로드해야한다.
  3. Educate or entertain people to mask loading time
    • 게임플레이, 재미있는 비디오 시퀀스 또는 흥미로는 placeholder 그래픽에 대해 힌트를 보여주는 것을 고려해야한다.
  4. Customize loading screens
    • 표준 progress indicator는 일반적으로 괜찮지만, 그들은 때때로 맥락에서 벗어날 수 있다.
    • 앱과 게임에 잘 맞는 스타일의 custom 애니메이션과 요소를 통해 더욱 몰입하는 디자인을 고려해야한다.
